Colleagues and students are cordially invited to participate in the Redesigning Student Learning Experience in Higher Education (RSLEIHE) Project Award Scheme 2023, which is initiated by the Higher Education Research and Development Society of Australasia (HERDSA) Hong Kong Branch and supported by the inter-institutional collaboration project “Co-Creating the Future of Education: A Student Partnership Project” established under the UGC’s Teaching Development and Language Enhancement Grant (2022-25 Triennium).The RSLEIHE project aims to create and share local examples of student-centred, student-initiated, future orientated teaching and learning experiences which can engage and empower students and directly meet their future needs in a meaningful manner. The main theme of this year’s award scheme is Co-Creating the Future of Education. Sub-themes are listed on the HERDSA HK website.
The project teams should consist of at least two students (full-time UG or PG students) and one project adviser. Faculty members and professional staff (in student affairs units, residential halls, libraries, or IT units, etc.) are encouraged to serve as project advisers or mentors to support students in designing and executing their proposed projects.
Proposal submission is now open until 30 April 2023. The HERDSA HK Executive Committee will shortlist project teams in mid-May 2023 and invite the teams to present their projects in the Symposium on RSLEIHE in January 2024. Selected project reports will be included in the RSLEIHE publication 2023.
Serval cash awards are open for competition. The winning team will receive HKD 7,000 cash award.
